Purple Mauve Lilac Peyote Tubes Bracelet with Swarovski Bicones and Pearls

Beaded peyote tubes are linked together with bead caps, threaded along with fresh water pearls and Swarovski bicones, embellished with a gorgeous grape charm...Purple tones and copper gives this bracelet a timeless appeal. It reminds me of Renaissance paintings!
Admiring this classic feel, I had to make a matching pendant. Sadly, I had to part with both as they were made for a lady who was thrilled to have them! At least :)

Ceramic Fox Beaded Earrings

Foxes are one of my favourite animals in spite of their bad reputation of being sly and cunning. I was so delighted to come across these ceramic beads on a bead stall near Leicester Square in London.

Bezeled Turquoise Beaded Peyote Necklace

A gorgeous piece of turquiose bezeled with seed beads and purple colour Czech pearls using peyote stitch.

Pair of Parrots Brick Stitch Beaded Earrings

These brick stitch earrings are one of my favourite makes. A bit intricate and fringing takes time but so worths the effort!

Free Style Beading Sieve Brooch and Earrings

I've discovered these fantastic sieve findings in a bead fair. Such an easy way to create something spectacular. Sometimes it's relaxing to go for a free style beading sessions, no counts, no maths, no patterns...Just playing around with colours and shapes as you desire...

Shabby Chic Rosey Heart Pendant

This pendant was made with Lacey's Stiff Stuff . The pattern was from Bead Magazine . I'm not a fan of hearts and roses but I do like the vintage feel of this pendant.

Lovely Leaves Necklace

The focal leaf is made with St Petersburg chain. The rest is just fringing with seed beads and little leaf shaped beads. The colourway was inspired by my evergreen ivy which makes me happy when it's cold and dull out there.

Feel Of The Orient Necklace

I made this necklace for Bead Magazine 's monthly challenge, theme was "Feel Of The Orient". I wanted to have a go at Chevron chain so that's what I used as the base of the necklace. I decorated it with tiny beaded fans and Japanese blossoms to add an Oriental feel.

3D Peyote Star Earrings

These gorgeous peyote stars are made with Jean Power's brilliant instructions www.jeanpower.com

Pink & Lavender Cellini Spiral Necklace

Another Cellini Spiral necklace...Light lilac, lavender, pink, plum and turquoise created a very feminine and harmonious colourway.

Choppy Sea Cellini Spiral Necklace

Cellini Spiral is not for the faint-hearted! Even though it's based on a very easy peyote principle, there is so much to watch out for. I was not on a patient mood so I haven't had guts to finish it all in Cellini spiral. I cut it short and used the spiral bit as a focal piece.

Knotted Hemp Bracelet

If you haven't had a go at hemp knotting yet you are missing lots of fun. Knotting is easy to master, durable to work with and very rewarding as it's fast to progress. Also good for making Shamballa bracelets which is the new craze!

Beaded Starfish

My first attempt to make beaded starfish was successful but I didn't quite know what to do with them! They  look so cute I just keep them on my beading table to cheer myself :)

Sunshine Beaded Pendant

Bezeled rivoli crystal embellished with seed beads, Miyuki beads and bicones...

Red and Blue Flowers Necklace

Nautical colourway has been my favourite for so long and this pattern really shows it off...I can not find or remember who the pattern belongs to...If anyone knows please let me know so I can put the link for the great beader who designed this beautiful necklace.

Lucky Stars Necklace

These 3D Peyote Stars are made with Jean Power's brilliant instructions which you can find on www.jeanpower.com

Bezeled Swarovski Necklace

A lot of maths but definetely worth the headache! I had bezeling craze last Christmas and spent most of the holiday bezelling whatever comes on my way! This necklace was the masterpiece of that era!

Bezeled Rivoli Bracelet

Bezeled Rivoli used as a focal bead in this bracelet. Silver and blue colourway gives adds a lot of interest to it.

Bezeled Swarovski Rivoli Peyote Ring

To be honest with you, idea of a seed beaded ring never appealed to me due to their delicate nature. When it comes to using my hands I am a bit harsh and careless so I usually leave seed beaded rings to less working hands! However, this bezelled rivoli ring came out so pretty I couldn't bare to part with it. Much to my suprise it's still in great shape and condition even after soooo many beading projects, dish washing, dog grooming, gardening etc...

Twisted Peyote Necklace with Lace Flowers

Seed beads worked in peyote stitch and embellished with handmade lace flowers...

Twisted Peyote Necklace

Spiral beading is a very clever way of showing off those little seed beads but it can be very time consuming and painful if you are not an advanced beader. I've discovered this very simple technique so there is no need to calculate each step. It is simply worked in peyote stitch, Thread a line of beads for the required length which would be the spine of your work (You can see I used yellow seed beads in this project.) Then starting with the same size seed beads in different colour and work a row of peyote till the end. When you finish, turn and work another row of peyote with a different colour but same size seed beads however this time add 2 beads between each gap instead of one. You will notice your work start curling around. Next row use a size bigger seed beads and keep adding 2 beads between the beads from previous row. I hope you get the principle so you can adjust it to your project. It is very easy once you get going and result is very striking.

"Paris, Mon Amour" Necklace

Herringbone (Ndebele) Stitch is one of my favourite of all beading techniques. It is smart, versatile and fun to work with!
These little beaded Eiffel Towers are worked with Herringbone stitch and the full instructions will be available on Bead Magazine September/October issue.
